Difference between organic cotton and normal cotton garments: instructions and advice

Do organic cotton and traditional cotton sweaters have the same characteristics and quality? There are actually numerous advantages to choosing a garment made from organic cotton.

Organic cotton is softer and lasts longer. Organic cotton fibers are longer and purer. This is why a garment made of organic cotton is characterized by greater softness: wearing it you can feel the difference.

In fact, synthetic or non-organic fabrics contain many chemicals that negatively affect the integrity of the fibers, causing greater wear and tear from use. Often after a season we are forced to throw away clothing, including sweaters and underwear which are basic garments beyond fashion, helping to increase the volume of waste to be disposed of.

Organic cotton absorbs more than traditional cotton.

Organic cotton is hypoallergenic and is therefore ideal for people with allergies: it will not cause skin irritation.

The chemicals found in non-organic cotton can cause dermatitis and skin irritation.
